Our first trip to the location in Beavercreek. It was consistent with previous locations. Delicious! I love the Waffle and Chicken. We arrived at 8:30am on a Saturday morning and was able to walk in. It filled up quickly after 9:00am. My husband enjoyed the mussels. They offer all you can eat mussels on Thursdays for $25. We will return again.

The food is delicious, service is warm, and atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. The waffles are not what I'm used to, a bit more dense with caramelized sugar bits, and I love it! Their drinks are especially nice as well. Recommend getting a reservation as this location tends to get super busy.

Excellent experience. Delicious food, top-notch service. Great atmosphere for brunch or lunch. Will be back Our server was shawn(spelling) and he made great recommendations. We had the Beer cheese and Pretzels appetizer, the Breakfast Plate, and the Waffles & Chicken.

We had some errands to do at the Greene, so we stopped in for a late lunch. We had a rather grumpy getting at the front door asking if we had a reservation. We didn't but the store wasn't very busy at the late lunchtime so we were quickly shown to a table. The store is clean and bright with plenty of windows. There were lots of Christmas decorations up for the holidays. We ordered drinks first. I got the hot mocha, and my wife got a diet soda. The mocha was probably the best mocha I have ever had. It had a very deep, rich dark chocolate flavor. The drink comes out with a nice foam on top of chocolate sprinkles. It was delicious, and I highly recommend this beverage. I think they only serve this type of coffee till 2:00pm. For lunch, we got the black bean burger with fries. It was average. It was a little soft and was missing some of the crunchy edges I was looking for. For dessert, we got a lavender and lemon crepe. It was cooked perfectly. The lemon was very tart a perfect for the dish. It was the star of the meal. I will be back to try some other items on the menu.

I've been here twice so far for lunch, and both times were good. Service was absolutely fantastic both times. The first time, I got the mushroom crepes/galette, which was delicious! I also got a banana and nutella crepe to share with my husband, which wasn't as good. Maybe it's because it had been sitting at our table for a while before we got to it, but the crepe was crispy and dry, not soft. Our server was very helpful and did great. The second time, I got the strawberries and cream waffle. It was delicious as well. Keep in mind their waffles are smaller and not the huge plate-sized ones. We also got fries to share with the table, and the fries weren't anything special, but they were still good. Our server was also so sweet and patient. Overall I enjoyed both visits. Can't wait to come back :)

Honestly didn't know what to expect. My wife took me there for birthday breakfast. The waitress did a great job of explaining options ingredients and portions. She recommended some good things for first time customers. Food didn't have the most seasoning, but it was well cooked and presented nicely. I liked the waffle style more than I expected though. Even though the food wasn't amazing, I will probably return and would recommend you trying it for yourself.

Our waiter Ben was wonderful! A couple beers sold out but they rotate. Food was decent, I loved my grilled cheese but the waffle was take it or leave it. The food came out very very quick !! I want to go back to try more beer for sure!!!

Understand, when I give reviews, I mean what I say and I am NOT easy. If you suck, you suck, and I will eviscerate you in a review if need be. Check out my review history. People give way too easy reviews on Google; I believe there should be a separate rating system on here for people who know how to rate places, so you can tell a grade difference from the hill-jacks who don’t know much outside of Taco Bell, and the overly hoity-toity types who are way too persnickety. But also you must rate something based on its genre and class range. Taste of Belgium is not a 5-star Michelin rated place, but it’s not intended to be. Given that qualification, this place is excellent. The waffles are thick and heavy like the Liege waffle variety should be. The food actually has flavor and does not require you to add salt, which is a very common issue elsewhere. Great beer selection, and I am a personal fan of their coffee beans. Very smooth. I recommend you get some to go. Check out the pics for setting. Btw, they have excellent Belgian beer selections. I am surprised this place only scored 3.9 stars as of the time of this review. Try to ignore that and check it out.
